Resumen de Sobre la aplicabilidad de la Ley 18/2018, de 13 de julio, de la Generalitat, para el fomento de la responsabilidad social

  Este artículo trata sobre las posibilidades de aplicación de la Ley18/2018, de la Generalitat Valenciana, para el fomento de la responsabilidadsocial. Sin embargo, la citada aplicabilidad se encuentra relativamente dificultadaporque, entre otras cosas, para ello hace falta crear y poner en marcha un Registrode Entidades Valencianas Socialmente Responsables, adscrito a la Conselleriacompetente en materia de Economía (art. 25,1 de la Ley 18/2018, objeto de esteestudio), lo cual, a su vez, implica la resolución de una serie de cuestiones quetienen que ver con los sujetos, los requisitos, las condiciones etc. que debencumplir las entidades socialmente responsables, para ser inscritas. Por tal motivo,este trabajo no puede ceñirse únicamente a tratar de responder a la cuestiónrelacionada con naturaleza y funcionamiento de tal registro; pues, para que unaentidad pueda ser inscrita en él ha de cumplir el requisito de ser declaradasocialmente responsable, lo cual es otra de las cuestiones reguladas por la citadaLey en su artículo 24, que se refiere literalmente a “La calificación de entidadvalenciana socialmente responsable”. Por consiguiente, antes de abordardirectamente los aspectos relacionados con el registro resulta necesario contemplarotras cuestiones con carácter previo.

  This article deals with the possibilities of applying Law 18/2018, ofthe Generalitat Valenciana, for the promotion of social responsibility. However,the aforementioned applicability is relatively difficult because, among otherthings, for this it is necessary to create and start up a Register of SociallyResponsible Valencian Entities, attached to the Ministry responsible for theEconomy (art. 25.1 of the Law 18/2018, object of this study), which, in turn,implies the resolution of a series of questions that have to do with the subjects, therequirements, the conditions, etc. that socially responsible entities must complywith in order to be registered. For this reason, this work cannot be confined solelyto trying to answer the question related to the nature and operation of such aregistry; Therefore, in order for an entity to be registered in it, it must meet therequirement of being declared socially responsible, which is another of the issuesregulated by the aforementioned Law in its article 24, which literally refers to "Thequalification of a Valencian entity socially responsible".
