En el siguiente trabajo investigativo se presentó como objetivo general determinar el impacto de los servicios de enfermería en sala de parto. Se planteó a partir del enfoque cuantitativo lo que originó datos descriptivos debido a la recolección de datos documentales-bibliográficos basándose en la revisión metódica, rigurosa y profunda de fuentes documentales tales como investigaciones científicas, trabajos arbitrados y tesis. Desde esta revisión y reflexión detallada, se obtuvieron los datos necesarios para el desarrollo teórico. Se determinó la importancia de una asistencia durante del parto por el personal de enfermería, cuya atención está centrada en el bienestar tanto de la madre como del niño que nace, manteniendo los estándares de seguridad materno fetal y las consideraciones especiales hacia la mujer en sala de parto. Se concluye que el impacto de los servicios de enfermería en sala de parto, es de suma importancia para el cumplimiento de las diferentes las etapas.

In the following research work, the general objective was to determine the impact of nursing services in the delivery room. It was based on the quantitative approach which originated descriptive data due to the collection of documentary-bibliographic data based on the methodical, rigorous and deep review of documentary sources such as scientific research, refereed works and theses. From this detailed review and reflection, the necessary data for the theoretical development were obtained. It was determined the importance of an assistance during childbirth by the nursing staff, whose attention is focused on the welfare of both the mother and the child to be born, maintaining the standards of maternal and fetal safety and special considerations towards the woman in the delivery room. It is concluded that the impact of the nursing services in the delivery room is of utmost importance for the fulfillment of the different stages.
