    The objective of this paper is to understand the evolution of associations with a social purpose. This sector has undergone a profound transformation in the way associations are financed. Starting from Ricoeur's metaphor theory, the research identifies the metaphors used by the actors to think about this transformation. The study of the interviews highlights living metaphors, dead metaphors, and semi-vivid metaphors that express the positioning of the actors concerning the changes underway in the sector.

    L’objectif de ce papier est de comprendre l’évolution d’un secteur d’activité, celui des associations à but social. Ce secteur a subi une profonde transformation, celle du changement de son mode de financement. Partant de la théorie de la métaphore de Ricœur, la recherche repère les métaphores utilisées par les acteurs pour penser cette transformation. L’étude des entretiens met en évidence des métaphores vives, des métaphores mortes, et des métaphores semi-vives qui expriment le positionnement des acteurs vis-à-vis des changements en cours dans le secteur.
