    Spotify es una aplicación multimedia fundada en 2006, en Suecia, por el diseñador web y empresario Daniel Ek y ahora incorporada en Luxemburgo. El negocio principal de la compañía es la plataforma de transmisión de audio que proporciona música protegida por DRM (Direct Rights Management) y podcast de empresas de medios. Spotify es la líder del mercado en su segmento. Este caso de estudio explica la evolución de la empresa desde su fundación y analiza sus principales factores de éxito. También concluye sobre el interés en invertir en sus acciones.

    Spotify is a media app founded in 2006 in Sweden by the web designer and entrepreneur Daniel Ek and now incorporated in Luxembourg. The primary business of the company is the audio streaming platform providing DRM (Direct Rights Management)-protected music and podcast from media companies. Spotify is the market leader in its segment. This case study explains the evolution of the company to date and analyzes the main success factors. It also concludes about the interest in investing in his actions.
