Resumen de De la polyphonie linguistique à la polyphonie discursive: un chemin à trois étapes

  This contribution presents and illustrates a three-stage development of polyphony. Our ambition is to achieve an analysis which shows and explains the polyphonic richness of discursive interpretation. In order to do this, the ScaPoLine theory (Nølke et al., 2004) first opened itself to dialogism and the Geneva model (Gjerstad, 2011). However, in order to simplify the methodological tool and thus reveal the spontaneous interpretations of utterances, the methodological framework was restricted to the contributions of the ScaPoLine and the praxématique (Badiang Oloko, 2019). We test the application of these developments on an op-ed by Paul Biya, president of Cameroon, in Le Monde on 30/11/2015. The analysis of the polyphonic phenomena identified reveals that the polyphonic configuration is a dynamic tool, which can be combined with other approaches, thus broadening its spectrum. The resulting discourse polyphony paves the way to a rhetorical interpretation of discourse. Based on the analyzed phenomena, we note that Paul Biya proposes consensus and concerted actions to curb the climate crisis.

  Cette contribution présente et illustre un développement de la polyphonie en trois étapes. Notre ambition est de parvenir à une analyse qui montre et explique la richesse polyphonique de l’interprétation discursive. Pour ce faire, la ScaPoLine s’est ouverte au dialogisme ainsi qu’au modèle de Genève. Toutefois, pour simplifier l’outil méthodologique et donc permettre de dévoiler des interprétations spontanées de l’énoncé, le cadre méthodologique a été restreint aux apports de la ScaPoLine et à ceux de la praxématique. Nous testons l’application de ces développements sur la tribune de Paul Biya, président du Cameroun, parue dans Le Monde du 30/11/2015. L’analyse des phénomènes polyphoniques repérés révèle que la configuration polyphonique est un outil dynamique, susceptible de se combiner avec d’autres approches, élargissant ainsi son spectre. La polyphonie discursive qui en résulte permet une interprétation rhétorique du discours. Sur la base des phénomènes analysés, l’on retient que Paul Biya propose le consensus et des actions concertées pour juguler la crise du climat.
