  El presente artículo establece las oportunidades del diseño como herramienta en la generación de recursos didácticos. El estudio refleja debilidades en los medios formativos utilizados por los docentes, muchos se construyen de manera intuitiva sin el sustento técnico de esta disciplina. Una investigación de carácter cualitativa, plantea el análisis de la actuación del docente dentro del aula, las metodologías y recursos didácticos utilizados; la comparación de criterios bibliográficos, permite establecer juicios sobre la correspondencia entre el entorno educativo y el diseño conceptual, y un análisis teórico práctico basado en la metodología del diseño de productos y respaldado por el método analítico sintético, es el sustento para evidenciar la viabilidad en la construcción del material didáctico. Los resultados obtenidos reflejan que el proceso de diseño y su implementación, generan un nivel de interacción entre estudiante y docente y funciona como herramienta pedagógica para el refuerzo y sustento del conocimiento.

  This article establishes opportunities of design as a tool in the generation of teaching resources. The study reflects weaknesses in the training process used by teachers, many are built intuitively without the technical support of this discipline. Qualitative research raises the analysis of the performance of the teacher in the classroom, the methodologies and teaching resources used; The comparison of bibliographic criteria, allows to establish judgments about the correspondence between the educational environment and the conceptual design, and a practical theoretical analysis based on the product design methodology and supported by the synthetic analytical method, is the basis to demonstrate the viability in the construction of the didactic material. The results obtained reflect that the design process and its implementation generate a level of interaction between student and teacher and function as a pedagogical tool to reinforce and sustain knowledge.
