Resumen de Metamorfoses do olhar na viagem de Goethe à Itália

  This article aims at introduce Goethe’s attitudes in his Italian Journey in relation with a new form of perception at the end of the 18th century, considering a histori-cal transformation which elevated the eye among the others organs of perception. On the other hand Goethe’s historical situation was oriented by a particular inner process to develop a critical observation method. At the end it points out in the words of this German poet the importance of travel as a movement through the space, the time, the other, and himself. When he observes the landscape his perception field changes and produces an aesthetic experience which presents him the archetypal phenomenon (Urphänomen).

  Este artigo objetiva apresentar a atitude de goethe em sua Viagem à Itália em relação a uma nova forma de perceber no final do século XVIII, considerando a transformação histórica que elevou o olho em meio aos outros órgãos da percepção. Por outro lado, a situação histórica de goethe era orientada por um processo particular interior no sentido de desenvolver um método de observação crítico. Ao final, a partir das palavras desse poeta alemão, indica-se a importância da viagem como um mo-vimento através do espaço, do tempo, do outro e de si. Quando ele observava a paisagem, seu campo de percepção mudava e produzia uma experiência estética que lhe apresentava o fenôme-no arquetípico (Urphänomen).
