    A inicios del siglo XIV algunos integrantes de la Orden de los Frailes Menores ocuparon sin autorización conventos en la región de Toscana. El objetivo de este artículo es realizar un análisis de una situación excepcional en el marco de las instituciones eclesiásticas en el bajo Medioevo. Nos detendremos en la construcción que nos presentan las diversas fuentes sobre un hecho de marcada conflictividad. Por esto, es importante reconstruir cómo se despliegan los discursos que refieren a las diversas acciones llevadas a cabo por los frailes. Partiremos de repensar cuáles son los elementos que recolectamos en las fuentes que refieren a las faltas cometidas por los hermanos y a las situaciones de conflictividad extrema, y qué vocabulario se utiliza en este sentido; al mismo tiempo que se buscará establecer un diálogo concreto con las diversas legislaciones normativas que se vinculen con la situación aquí abordada.

    At the beginning of the 14th century, some members of the Order of Friars Minor occupied convents in the Tuscany region without authorization. The aim of this article is to carry out an analysis of an exceptional situation in the framework of ecclesiastical institutions in the late Middle Ages. We will stop at the construction presented by the various sources on a fact of marked conflict. For this reason, it is important to reconstruct how the speeches that refer to the various actions carried out by the friars unfold. We will start from rethinking which are the elements that we collect in the sources that refer to the faults committed by the friars and to situations of extreme adversity, and what vocabulary is used in this sense. At the same time, it will seek to establish a concrete dialogue with the various normative laws that are linked to the situation addressed here.
