Este artículo presenta los resultados del estudio de los briófitos del Parque de Salburua.
Se trata de un espacio que forma parte del anillo verde periurbano de la ciudad de Vitoria, constituido en torno a unos humedales y en el que se desarrollan diferentes comunidades vegetales, principalmente formaciones hidrófilas abiertas y formaciones boscosas como saucedas y bosques ribereños. El estudio ha detectado un total de 76 briófitos (7 hepáticas y 69 musgos). Destaca el predominio de las comunidades briofíticas epifíticas y cómo las inundaciones determinan la disposición de diferentes comunidades de briófitos.
Bryological study of the Salburua Park (Vitoria, Spain). This article presents the results of the study on the bryophytes growing in Salburua Park. This is a space that belongs to the periurban green ring of the city of Vitoria, which extends around wetlands and shelters different plant communities, mainly open hydrophilous formations and wooded ones such as willow groves and riparian forests. The study has detected 76 bryophytes (7 liverworts and 69 mosses). It highlights the predominance of epiphytic bryophyte communities, and the way floods determine the arrangement of different bryophyte communities.
