    El Museo de Bomberos “Enrique Estrada” posee piezas de inestimable valor que describen el desarrollo alcanzado por el cuerpo de bomberos, así como los adelantos de la ciencia y la tecnología que lo han llevado al progreso que hoy exhibe. Sin embargo, el patrimonio arquitectónico no ha sido objeto de suficiente investigación, para su utilización como parte de la historia de la localidad en la relación del museo con la escuela. Por lo que se formuló como objetivo: Investigar la historia de la arquitectura del Cuartel de Bomberos de Matanzas, en su vínculo con la historia local y en la formación integral de los estudiantes de la sociedad científica del museo. Se utilizó el Método Dialéctico Materialista y técnicas propias de la investigación histórica, empleando fuentes primarias, permitiendo determinar la historia de la construcción del cuartel de bomberos de la ciudad de Matanzas, enunciando las potencialidades de la utilización del patrimonio arquitectónico en la formación integral de los estudiantes, realizando materiales divulgativos para los visitantes al museo. Concluyendo que convertir el patrimonio arquitectónico de la institución en objeto de estudio de los estudiantes contribuye al desarrollo de habilidades investigativas y rescate de la historia local.

If it used the mercenary dialectical method and ain techniques in the historic watch, use primary origins, permit determining the past for the construction to the fourth of the firebreaks in the city of killings, he has enunciated the potentials in the use of the architectural birthright in the integral training of the students, realize vulgativos´s materials for the visitors of the museum. I reason what convert the architectural heritage of the institution on an object in the students study it contributes when I develop in skillfulness’s investigative and rescue in the local past.
