  • All information and communication technologies (ICT) bring inno-vative resources, not only for the transmission of information, teaching objectsbut also for the exploration of learning strategies for learners by promoting the development of skills. Among the most promising resources in the teaching of experimental sciences, we find interactive graphic animations intended for classroom or distance learning. These educational applications can create model, animate and simulate real phenomena by creating models, diagrams or virtual experiences, allowing learners to understand the situation studied, for-mulate hypotheses, interpret data and facilitate the understanding of complex phenomena.

In order to improve the learning of chemistry catalysis course among Moroccan secondary students, in this work we have proposed a course incatalysis using different means of ICT, elucidated by an interactive graphic animation. The course is exported in different formats: Small Web Format(SWF) for the various materials that work with Windows and another version Android Package (APK) intended for the Android operating system. The results obtained, based on an anonymous questionnaire and a test, showed animprovement in learning among students who attended the course with ICT in comparison with other students who attended the same course, under the same conditions, but using the classic method of transmission pedagogy based solely on the school textbook and the workbook. We also think that the catalysis course that we have prepared could be used by secondary students from other countries, especially for Francophone education systems.
