    Las medidas de tendencia central constituyen un conjunto de datos estadísticos que pueden resumirse mediante una serie de cantidades numéricas representativas llamadas parámetros estadísticos. Entres ellas están: la media aritmética, mediana y moda. El nombre de medidas de tendencia central se debe a la agrupación de los datos alrededor de un valor que los representa. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo comprender y manejar los procesos de desarrollo de la media aritmética, mediana y moda con datos agrupados en intervalos, para facilitar la perspicacia y captación de los estudiantes del tercer semestre paralelo C de la carrera Tecnologías de la Información. Se aplicaron los métodos de la investigación científica: método histórico-lógico en la construcción y desarrollo del tema; pre-experimento, estadístico-matemático durante todo el desarrollo del trabajo y definición del problema de investigación, mostrando los datos en los ejercicios realizados y el método bibliográfico al seleccionar y recopilar la información del contenido para su desarrollo mediante páginas web, artículos, y documentos. Mediante la indagación de este tema se adquirieron los conocimientos necesarios para el desarrollo de ejercicios y ejemplificar cada de uno de ellos, y así brindar una explicación satisfactoria a los estudiantes involucrados en el proceso investigativo.

    Central tendency measures constitute a set of statistical data that can be summarized by a series of representative numerical quantities called statistical parameters. Among them there can be mentioned: The arithmetic average, medium and mode. The name "measures of central tendency" is due to the grouping of the data around a value that represents them. The  article aimes at managing and understanding the development processes of the average arithmetic, medium and mode with grouped data at intervals, to easy  the insight and capture on the part of the students of the third parallel semester “C” of the Technology Information major. Scientific methods were applied, such as: historical-logical method, which  was used in the construction and development of the subject, mathematical statistical method, which contributed throughout the development of the work  to the research problem, showing the data in the performed exercises and, finally,  the bibliographic method that was used at the time of selecting and collecting  the information of the content for its development through documents, articles and web pages. The research of the topic under analysis permitted the authors the acquisition of the necessary knowledge for the development of the exercises as well as to exemplify each one of them, and thus provide a satisfactory explanation to the students involved in the research process.
