    Considerando la conferencia mundial contra el racismo, la discriminación racial, la xenofobia y las formas conexas de intolerancia de Durban 2001, analizamos el papel del Movimientos Social Afrodescendientes, contribuciones y acciones paralograr espacios y normativas contra estos flagelos. Se demarca desde la fecha de la conferencia hasta la realización en Ginebra 2013, de un examen periódico a Venezuela sobre el tema del racismo y la discriminación. Todos los eventos en esemomento histórico nos permitirán comprender las tensiones, encuentros y disputas entre el Estado, el gobierno y los afrodescendientes organizados en la lucha por su reconocimiento y visibilidad.Recibido: 5.3.21 Evaluado: 4.4.21Aprobado: 19.5.21

    Considering the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance of Durban in 2001, we analyze the role of the Afro-descendant Social Movements, contributions, and actions to achieve spaces and regulations against these scourges. It is delimited from the date of the conference until the completion in Geneva in 2013, in a periodic review of Venezuela on the issue of racism and discrimination. All the events in this historic moment will allow us to understand the tensions, encounters, and differences between the State, the government, and the Afro-descendants organized in the struggle for their recognition and visibility.
