  • Resumen
    • Right-wing parties are gaining more and more consensus in Europe. Front National, UKIP, Alternative Fur Deutschland and Lega Nord are becoming protagonists of a political (and medial) agenda, which has indubitably changed. Their political and communicational moves have been monitored since 2014’s European elections. These subjects have frequently refused political labels like ‘right’ and ‘populism’. Actually, even if they may be defined as “right-wing movements”, they do not belong to the far-right sphere of European political environment. Then, who does? In Italy, there are a few political associations placed on the right of Matteo Salvini’s Lega Nord. Even if some of their members demurs to define themselves as ‘neofascist’, these movements have often been mentioned by the media because of some violent episodes, happened in Italy. How do these movements behave in nowadays’ political context, which is more and more directed to approach the electors through the Net? My research analyses how three far-right Italian parties (Forza Nuova, Casa Pound Italia and Azione Frontale) use the Internet. Taking into consideration both social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and web sites, my research focuses on determining these aggregations’ lexis and iconography. In order to establish what kind of political narration these parties perform online, the research individualizes their key-words, the most recurrent political issues and visual contents, measuring the engagement rate of their campaigns. Moreover, the analysis faces a direct confront with these movements’ leaders and fellows. The aim is to mature a precise and complete portrait of these groups’ online narrations.
