Tecnoestrés en docentes universitarios en el marco de la pandemia COVID-19

    El objetivo del estudio fue conocer si los docentes universitarios de la Zona Metropolitana del Valle de México presentan tecnoestrés durante la pandemia COVID-19, las repercusiones psicosomáticas, uso de las TIC y las conductas de protección que realizan, mediante un diseño transversal descriptivo, con una muestra de 164 participantes. Se encontró que el 57.4% padecen alto tecnoestrés y elevados síntomas psicosomáticos, siendo la dimensión fatiga la que genera mayor repercusión, además, los mayores de 50 años son los más afectados. Si bien los docentes realizan conductas para mitigar el tecnoestrés, se evidencia la necesidad de tomar acción a nivel organizacional.

    The aim of this study was to know if university teachers in Mexico City Metropolitan Area present technostress during the COVID-19 pandemic, the psychosomatic repercussions, the use of ICT, and the protective behaviors they carry out through a descriptive cross-sectional study with a sample of 164 participants. The results reveal that 57.4% suffer from high technostress and high psychosomatic symptoms, being the fatigue dimension the one that generates the greatest repercussion; in addition, teachers over 50 years old are the most affected. Although teachers perform behaviors to mitigate technostress, it is necessary to implement actions at the organizational level.
