    This interview with British sociologist Nicholas Gane focused primarily on the promise of sociology - taking up C. Wright Mills - with some important political events in the contemporary world (neoliberalism, Brexit, etc.). It also gives a glimpse of the relationship of important figures in sociology (Comte, Weber, Schutz, Aron) with some neoliberal thinkers such as Mises and, especially, Hayek.
