    El terrorismo es un fenómeno multidimensional donde la comunicación, la política y la lucha por la legitimidad juegan un papel decisivo. Este documento aborda su estudio desde varias perspectivas. Inicialmente realiza una aproximación a la ontología de la modernidad tecnológica, donde lo digital tiene una importancia colosal, y examina críticamente la fenomenología de este presente, así como sus implicaciones sociopolíticas, económicas y culturales. Con ello, se crea una atalaya desde la que observar con una mejor óptica los siguientes apartados, que se ocupan de examinar el terrorismo desde distintas posiciones para, finalmente, plantear un análisis discursivo que, sintetizando los principales mecanismos psicosociales utilizados por los terroristas en su propaganda, permite advertir sus trucos dialécticos. Esto supone un apoyo fundamental para los medios de comunicación y para la ciudadanía en general teniendo en cuenta que internet posibilita que el terrorista distribuya masiva y globalmente sus mensajes.

    Terrorism is a multidimensional phenomenon where communication, politics and the struggle for legitimacy play a decisive role. This paper tackles its study from several perspectives. Initially, it approaches the ontology of technological modernity, where 'the digital' has colossal importance, and critically examines the phenomenology of this present, as well as its socio-political, economic and cultural implications. This creates a vantage point from which to observe the following sections from a better perspective, which examine terrorism from different positions and, finally, propose a discursive analysis that, by synthesizing the main psychosocial mechanisms used by terrorists in their propaganda, allows us to see their dialectical tricks. This is a fundamental support for the media and citizens in general, taking into account that the Internet makes it possible for terrorists to massively and globally distribute their messages.
