    El presente estudio tuvo como propósito describir algunos indicadores que favorecen o dificultan la producción científica de docentes en educación superior de dos universidades de Lima. Con un diseño descriptivo, se busca identificar los principales indicadores que intervienen en esta problemática. Los participantes fueron 33 docentes, que tienen relación específica de investigadores y/o dictan cursos de metodología, seminario de tesis, etc. El instrumento utilizado fue el cuestionario de actitud, conocimiento y uso de recursos para la investigación (ACRIN) el cual consta de 30 ítems divididos en tres factores: actitud es hacia la investigación, conocimientos sobre investigación y uso de recursos para la investigación. Los resultados evidencian que algunos de factores por lo que los docentes universitarios no realizan investigación se relacionan principalmente con la falta de recursos que reciben, la falta de actitud que presentan y el bajo nivel de conocimientos sobre investigación. Se concluye en consecuencia, que la falta de producción científica en nuestro medio se debería principalmente a la falta de recursos con los que cuentan los docentes para hacer investigación.

                        The purpose of this studywas to describe some indicators that favor or hinder the scientific production                     of higher education teachers from two universities in Lima.With a descriptive design,                     it seeks to identify the main indicators that intervene in this problem. The participants were 33                     teachers, who have a specific relationship with researchers and / or teach methodology courses,                     a thesis seminar, etc. The instrument used was the questionnaire on attitude, knowledge and                     Use of resources for research (ACRIN), which consists of 30 items divided into three factors:

                        attitudes towards research, knowledge about research and use of resources for research. The results                     show that some of the factors for which university professors do not carry out research are                     mainly related to the lack of resources they receive, the lack of attitude they present and the low                     level of knowledge about research.We conclude, therefore, that the lack of scientific production                     in our environment is due mainly to the lack of resources available to teachers to do research.
