El posmodernismo en el filme Persépolis

    Este escrito pretende analizar las características de la posmodernidad encontradas en el filme francés Persépolis mediante las siguientes obras: La Modernidad Desbordada de Arjun Appadurai, El Lugar de la Cultura de Homi Bhabha, Orientalismo de Edward Said, ¿Pueden Hablar los Subalternos? de Gayatri Spivak y Los No Lugares de Marc Augé. Estos escritos guardan relación con el filme ya que tratan varias temáticas con características posmodernas como son: el surgimiento de las diásporas y el cambio que traen consigo, la forma en que éstas influencian la formación de las identidades, los estereotipos que se crean, la vida social imaginada influenciada por Occidente, la mujer como miembro de un país de Oriente Medio, así como los movimientos de personas causados por varios problemas antropológicos de la sobremodernidad.

    This paper aims to analyze the characteristics of postmodernity found in the French film Persepolis through the following manuscripts: Modernity at Large by Arjun Appadurai, the Location of Culture by Homi Bhabha, Orientalism by Edward Said, ¿Can the Subaltern Speak? by Gayatri Spivak and Non-Places by Marc Augé. These works are related to the film since they deal with several topics that have postmodern characteristics, such as: the emergence of diasporas and the change they bring, the way they influence the formation of identities, the stereotypes that are created among these, the imagined social life influenced by the West, the women as a member of a Middle Eastern country, as well as the movements of people caused by various anthropological problems of supermodernity.
