  El priapismo es la erección patológica y mantenida del pene y si no se resuelve de forma rápida puede conllevar disfunción eréctil permanente. A pesar de que el priapismo requiere un tratamiento inmediato, este variará dependiendo del tipo que sea, si de alto flujo o no isquémico, o de bajo flujo o isquémico. Sin embargo, en ambas variantes el tiempo resulta fundamental. En este artículo se presenta el caso de un paciente que, tras horas de evolución, ingresa de urgencia debido a esta patología.

  Priapism consists of the pathological and maintained erection of the penis and if it is not solved quickly, it can produce permanent erectile dysfunction. This pathology requires immediate treatment, but it will be different depending on the type of priapism that suffers the patient, if it is an ischemic priapism or non-ischemic. However, regardless of the type of priapism, the time is totally relevant. This article presents the case of a patient who suffered this pathology and after hours of evolution, was admitted urgently for a treatment.
