Un movimiento social como el de 1968 se caracteriza por el despliegue de numerosos contingentes que, si bien comparten demandas y reconocen a una misma dirigencia, no necesariamente actúan bajo un mando único, al contrario, mantienen un alto grado de autonomía e iniciativa. También se caracteriza por alianzas entre sectores disímiles y por ser objeto de las expectativas de otros sujetos y de sus adversarios. Por tener su origen en las universidades, por su carácter juvenil, el sentido político de sus demandas y el tipo de acciones emprendidas, en la trama del ‘68 mexicano podemos identificar diversos actores que expresaron su respaldo desde otros países de América Latina. En este artículo mencionaremos algunos: autoridades universitarias, asociaciones estudiantiles, organizaciones de la llamada entonces Nueva Izquierda y medios de prensa. A social movement like that of 1968 is characterized by the deployment of numerous contingents, which, although they share demands and recognize the same leadership, do not necessarily act under the same command, unlike, they maintain a high degree of autonomy and initiative. It is also characterized by alliances between dissimilar sectors, and being subject to the expectations of other subjects and their adversaries. Because of its origin in the universities, due to its youthful nature, the political sense of its demands and the type of actions undertaken, in the plot of the Mexican 68 we can identify various actors who expressed their support from other Latin American countries. In this article we will mention some: university authorities, student associations, organizations of the so-called New Left, and press media.
