  Este texto introduce la tesis doctoral “Virtual Biodiversities and Digital Knowledges”, un estudio crítico de la biblioteca digital Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL) que busca comprender la construcción epistémica en línea de la biodiversidad latinoamericana con el fin de avanzar la agenda de descolonización digital y promover un acercamiento ético hacia las narrativas de la región y sus habitantes humanos y no humanos.

  This critique introduces the PhD thesis “Virtual Biodiversities and Digital Knowledges”, a critical study of the digital library Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL) which seeks to understand the epistemic construction in the matter of Latin American biodiversity in order to advance the digital decolonization agenda and promote an ethical approach to the narratives of the region and its human and non-human inhabitants.
