  El último pronunciamiento del Tribunal Constitucional sobre los senadores de designación autonómica reviste especial interés por el problema jurídico que se le plantea, por la fundamentación jurídica que sostiene, por las críticas que los votos particulares efectúan y por las consecuencias que la anterior fundamentación tiene sobre la autonomía parlamentaria, el sistema de votación en el Pleno y la representatividad de los senadores designados. Clarificar estas cuestiones es el objetivo primordial de este texto.

  The Constitutional Court’s latest pronouncement on senators appointed by the autonomous regions is of particular interest because of the legal problem it raises, because of the legal reasoning it upholds, because of the criticisms made by the individual votes and because of the consequences that the above reasoning has on parliamentary autonomy, the voting system in the Plenary and the representativeness of the appointed senators. Clarifying these issues is the main objective of this text.
