    Nonviolence is not reducible to an individualistic moral position. As a collective struggle against systemic or institutionalized forms of violence, it shapes an effective form of agency and political power, thus presenting itself as a global ethical commitment with equality. In this perspective we inscribe Judith Butler’s ethical ‑political proposal elaborated in The Force of Non ‑violence, reflecting on the individual, equality and the grounds of social bonds. These notions are now redrawn within the scope of an increasingly interdependent social world where inequalities and the protection of lives, more than potentiating or legitimizing violence, confirm nonviolent choices to socio ‑political dynamization and transformation

    La non ‑violence ne se réduit pas à une position morale individualiste. En tant que lutte collective contre la violence systémique ou instituée, elle constitue une forme efficace d’agence et de pouvoir politique avec un engagement éthique global en faveur de l’égalité. Dans cette perspective s’inscrit la proposition éthico ‑politique que Judith Butler a élaborée dans The Force of Non ‑violence, contribuant à des réflexions sur l’individu, l’égalité et les fondements du lien social.
