The purpose of this paper is to identify the functional heart variables before physical stress among young basketball players aged (16-18) years. As well as the speed of recovery after physical stress and the relationship between heart muscle variables and speed of recovery after physical stress. The research hypotheses included the existence of a statistically significant relationship between the heart muscle variables and the speed of recovery after physical stress among young basketball players. The researcher also identified the community, who are the players of Al-Diwaniyah Youth Basketball Club for the 2021-2022 season, and they are (16) players by a comprehensive inventory method. Before starting to work with physical stress, the homogeneity of one group was calculated in the measurements and tests, and the results were that the physical stress helped raise the efficiency of the heart variables and the speed of recovery increases with the increase in the functional efficiency of the functional heart variables.
