A lo largo del siglo XX la reivindicación del elemento dionisíaco y del deseo como fuerza motriz de la creación artística y del pensamiento sobre lo humano ha tomado mucha fuerza y ha trazado diferentes caminos.
Queremos hablar de ello a partir de la obra de Pablo Ruiz Picasso y ofreciendo, junto a un recorrido por su obra y por su visión del arte, un paisaje de lo que han hecho algunos de los principales artistas y lo que han dicho algunos de los principales pensadores y filósofos sobre lo dionisíaco en y desde la Península Ibérica a lo largo del siglo XX

Throughout the 20th century, the vindication of the Dionysian element and desire as the driving force behind artistic creation and thought, has taken on great force and has traced different paths. We will study this in this article starting from the work of Pablo Ruiz Picasso and offering, together with a journey through his work and his vision of art, a landscape of what some of the main artists have done, and what some of the main thinkers and philosophers have said about the Dionysian from the Iberian Peninsula throughout the 20th century.
