Entre els noms que conformen el llistat d’exiliats republicans de les Illes Balears, el de Gabriel Arrom i Julià sembla el més desconegut.
La fragmentada memòria recollida en diccionaris i enciclopèdies perviu recuperable en un exercici de síntesi bibliogràfica de la literatura testimonial i en documents autobiogràfics d’arxius desclassificats de la Federació Russa on es va exiliar. Aquest text pretén, a partir d’aquestes fonts documentals, analitzar algunes dades d’una biografia, la trajectòria de la qual és consubstancial al procés de construcció de la identitat revolucionària. Un procés que implica l’atenció indistinta envers interpel·lacions culturals i laborals. Totes dues s’integren i projecten igualment cap a la realització d’un ideal

Among the names that make up the list of Republican exiles from the Balearic Islands, Gabriel Arrom and Julià seem to be the most unknown. The fragmented memory collected in dictionaries and encyclopedias survives recoverable in an exercise of bibliographic synthesis of the testimonial literature and in autobiographical documents of some declassified archives of the Russian Federation where he was exiled. This text aims, from these documentary sources, to analyze some data of a biography, whose trajectory is consubstantial to the process of construction of the revolutionary identity.
