El trabajo pretende abordar “lo infantil” a través de experiencias traumáticas vividas en la infancia, que irrumpen en los procesos de subjetivación. Expone un caso clínico que ilustra esta cuestión. En relación al tema de lo infantil se hace referencia principalmente a las ideas de Guignard, entendiendo que es un lugar psíquico desde donde residen la sexualidad infantil y la identidad, y es el punto más agudo de nuestros afectos. En el trabajo clínico, señalan los aportes de Bion y de Ferro sobre la función de la mente continente del analista, indispensable para alojar y digerir el terror sin nombre de los pacientes con experiencias traumáticas.

Sewing the broken doll: repairing and stitching childhood traumata. This paper aims to address the infantile through traumatic experiences lived in childhood that interrupt the processes of subjectivation. It presents a clinical case illustrating this issue. In relation to the infantile, reference is made mainly to Guignard’s ideas, on the understanding that it is the psychic place where infantile sexuality and identity reside, and the point of our most intense affects. The paper points out the contributions of Bion and Ferro on the function of the analyst’s containing mind, indispensable to accommodate and digest the nameless terror of patients who had traumatic experiences
