    Hacemos en este estudio una aproximación histórica al patrimonio industrial, vinícola y cultural que representa en Jerez dela Frontera su centenaria fábrica de botellas. Fundada en 1895con el capital francés de la familia Bocuze, esta factoría ha ido evolucionando a lo largo de todo el siglo XX paralela a la potente y singular industria del Sherry. A favor de Jerez y de la Universidad de Cádiz, la empresa Verallia España, heredera de la histórica compañía Saint-Gobain Vicasa, cedió en 2016 un legado patrimonial –consistente en documentación histórica, planos industriales y colección de botellas y moldes- que hoy custodia el Instituto IVAGRO del Campus Universitario de Jerez, y que en realidad representa una parte de la historia y el patrimonio industrial, comercial y social de la ciudad de Jerez de la Frontera.

    This research makes a historical approach to the industrial, wineand cultural heritage represented in Jerez de la Frontera by itscentenary bottle factory. Founded in 1895 with the French capitalof the Bocuze family, this factory has evolved throughout the20th century, parallel to the powerful and unique Sherry industry.In favor of Jerez and the University of Cádiz, the companyVerallia España, heir to the historic Saint-Gobain Vicasa company,gave in 2016 a heritage legacy –consisting of historicaldocumentation, industrial plans and a collection of bottles andmolds- that the Institute IVAGRO of the University Campus ofJerez conserves and safeguards, and actually represents a partof the history and the industrial, commercial and social heritageof our city.
