El trabajo desarrolla la vida de dos organistas hermanos que nacieron en la misma población de Mancha Real, Blas Gregorio y José María; aunque hay elementos comunes en su trayectoria, ambos coincidieron en la misma catedral de Calahorra, sus biografías difieren siendo más rica la del primero que la del segundo y por ello más difícil de investigar. Su recorrido le llevó a Blas Gregorio de Mancha Real a Madrid y El Escorial, a Ávila, Calahorra y Buenos Aires donde profesó como Carmelita Descalzo. Dada su relativa cercanía en el tiempo las fuentes testimoniales han tenido su importancia.

The document elaborates on the life of two organists brother who both were born in Mancha Real, Blas Gregorio and José María; Although both worked together in Calahorra catedral, their biographies differs. There are more information about Blas’ life than Jose’s, being the latter more difficult to investigate. Blas Gregorio biography took him from Mancha Real to Madrid and El Escorial, Ávila, Then Calahorra (La Rioja) and finally Buenos Aires, where he lived as a Discalced Carmelite. Due their relative proximity in time, the testimonial sources have had their importance.
