Resumen de Il ricalcolo dei vitalizi in Sicilia e quello che il thema decidendum non consente di dire: considerazioni sulla sent. n. 44 del 2021
The work concerns the question of the recalculation of the annuities of regional politicians. In particular, the analysis deals with the dispute following the appeal raised by the Council of Ministers against art. 1 co. 12 and 13 of the law of the Sicily, 28 November 2019, n. 19. In contrast to the State legislative indications, the Sicilian regional law limits in five years the effectiveness of the contribution recalculation of life allowances. The ruling of the Constitutional Court constitutes an opportunity to reflect on the issues of the costs of politics and on the limits of State legislative competence in the field of coordination of public finance.
