  • In response to the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak, national and local authorities implemented a variety of measures; in the field of education, the emergency has led to the massive closure of face-to-face activities adopting several provisions, some of which more restrictive than those provided at national level. Therefore, exploring the regional response to the COVID-19 crisis against the background of the relations between the State and the Regions, the essay focuses on crisis management in primary and secondary education in Piedmont from February 2020 to April 2021
