En el presente artículo, se analizará el «Yomismo» en cuatro poemas visuales pertenecientes a Química del espíritu (1923) de Alberto Hidalgo. Se propone que en el poemario hay una búsqueda e intento de descubrir la esencia del «ser», por lo que el poema visual sería una gran estrategia pictórica que permite representar la desilusión y frustración ante la imposibilidad de entender el estado del hombre. Por lo tanto, se recurrirá a la noción del «Yomismo», propuesta por Manuel Pantigoso.

In this article, the «Yomismo» will be analyzed in four visual poems belonging to Química del espíritu (1923) by Alberto Hidalgo. It is proposed that in the collection of poems there is a search and attempt to discover the essence of «being», so the visual poem would be a great pictorial strategy that allows representing disappointment and frustration at the impossibility of understanding the state of man. Therefore, the notion of «Yomismo», proposed by Manuel Pantigoso, will be used.
