    • This research work had as objective to check the effectiveness of the concentrated of Cetico (Cecropia sp.) in the healing of wounds cutaneous incited on guinea pigs (Cavia porcellus). We designed an experimental study, with 30 guinea pigs selected of the “La Esperanza” farm located in the district of Santa María del Valle in the region Huánuco during the period of 2017. The animals were divided into three groups of 10 guinea pigs each, two controls (positive and negative) and one experimental. Data were collected by observation guide. For the hypothesis test were used ANOVA and Tukey . The average healing time of the experimental group was 6,6 days; of the positive control group was 8,9 days and the negative control group was 8,6 days with treatments every 24 hours. There was also significant statistical difference between the experimental group and the positive control group (P≤0,002) and the negative control group (P≤0,006) with treatments every 24 hours in the healing time. The results suggest that the cetico extract is efficient and safe because it reduced the healing time especially with treatments every 24 hours
