  Os habéis puesto en camino a Ourense para compartir algo que lleváis muy dentro de vuestro corazón. Nuestra inquietud por la espiritualidad y por la belleza nos han reunido en este congreso de arquitectura religiosa para afrontar el tema capital de la identidad en el espacio sagrado. Hemos escuchado ponencias y comunicaciones que han renovado nuestro entusiasmo y nuestro compromiso. Gracias a todos los ponentes por esta esperanza maravillosa que ilumina nuestras inquietudes.

  Este congreso también ha sido —y de una manera muy especial— un momento de gozo. Gozo de quien está buscando con ilusión, y gozo de los que escuchamos algo que con alegría estamos buscando y sabemos que estamos en el camino. Habría que decir una vez más que la arquitectura no es el problema, sino que en este momento la arquitectura es la gran oportunidad. Lo mismo se podría decir de las demás bellas artes, especialmente de la escultura, con estas expresiones que hoy hemos escuchado tan hermosamente expuestas.

  You have set out on your way to Ourense to share something that you carry deep within your heart. Our concern for spirituality and beauty has brought us together in this religious architecture congress to face the capital issue of identity in the sacred space. We have listened to papers and communications that have renewed our enthusiasm and our commitment. Thanks to all the speakers for this wonderful hope that illuminates our concerns.

  This congress has also been - and in a very special way - a moment of joy. I enjoy who is looking forward, and joy of those who listen to something that we are looking for with joy and we know we are on the way. We should say once again that architecture is not the problem, but at this moment architecture is the great opportunity. The same could be said of the other fine arts, especially sculpture, with these expressions that we have heard so beautifully exposed today.
