    La inteligencia artificial integra un conjunto de tecnologías que está cambiando y cambiará el mundo que conocemos. El valor y potencial disruptivo de la IA es inmenso. No obstante, plantea distintos retos jurídicos para los que los ordenamientos jurídicos vigentes no disponen de todas las respuestas, debido a que fueron elaborados y aprobados en un contexto tecnológico muy diferente al actual, en el que algunas de las tecnologías más vanguardistas incluso ya existían, si bien, carecían de las capacidades, recursos y aplicaciones actuales que les pudiera haber permitido vislumbrar los conflictos y retos que hoy pueden plantear. La inteligencia artificial plantea distintos retos en el ámbito de la propiedad intelectual e industrial, algunos de los cuales serán analizados en el presente trabajo, especialmente en relación con la protección de los sistemas inteligentes y de las creaciones generadas por los mismos, la condición de autor/inventor y la protección de los contenidos utilizados por los mismos para su diseño, entrenamiento o funcionamiento.

    Artificial intelligence integrates a set of technologies that is changing and will change the world as we know. The value and disruptive potential of AI is immense. However, it poses different legal challenges for which the current legal systems do not have all the answers, because they were developed and approved in a technological context very different from the current one, in which some of the most cutting-edge technologies even already existed, although they lacked the capabilities, resources and current applications that could have allowed them to consider the conflicts and challenges that they can pose today. Artificial intelligence poses different challenges in the field of intellectual and industrial property, some of which will be analyzed in this paper, especially in relation to the protection of intelligent systems and the creations generated by them, the condition of the author/inventor and the protection of the contents used by them for their design, training or operation.
