  • Resumen
    • This research has the vocation of deciphering the sense of the landscape and the panoramic in the work of Lina Bo Bardi through the accumulated visions of her drawings, delve into the precise design of an architectural element, her stairs, which function as a connecting link of two unequal worlds, the drawn one and the separated by the line of the horizon. We choose the author's three projects, profusely drawn, as case studies to analyse: the Glass House in São Paulo, the São Paulo Art Museum, and the Solar of Unhão in Salvador de Bahia. The text explores various staircase solutions that Lina proposes, establishing two concepts: the staircase that builds the horizon (Glass House) and the staircase that integrates into the horizon (MASP). When both ideas merge, the stairs are landscapes in themselves (Solar de Unhão). We delve into the method of creating the bobardian stairs in plastic terms that Lina approaches with quick notes and in technical terms with leisurely drawings: when drawing, Lina was projecting. Her drawings are evocative, and they invite us to enter and be part of the scenarios she projects and are mediators with the landscape. Lina Bo Bardi projected by drawing.
