Resumen de El priorato de San Cibrao de Bribes al final del Antiguo Régimen: arquitectura, manifestaciones artísticas y sociedad

El presente trabajo representa la continuidad cronológica de nuestra línea anterior de investigación iniciada con el establecimiento en la Edad Media del monasterio de San Cibrao de Bribes. Nos hemos centrado ahora en la arquitectura, en la construcción de las nuevas dependencias y de la casa prioral y, a través de la escultura y el arte mueble, en sus manifestaciones artísticas, culturales y sociales, que tuvieron lugar en la etapa final del Antiguo Régimen, durante los siglos XVIII y XIX.

The research work presented here shows the continuity of the chronological line that began with the foundation of the monastery of San Cibrao de Bribes in the Middle Ages. It now focuses on the architecture, the cosntruction of the new outbuildings and the priory house and, through sculpture and movable art, with its artistic, cultural and social manifestations, in the final stage of the Spanish Ancient Regime during the 18th and 19th centuries
