Este artigo analisa os dispositivos da Lei 14.010/2020, originário do Projeto de Lei 1.179/2020, que cria um Regime Jurídico Emergencial em Direito Privado (RJET). A ideia original do projeto é de tratar de todos os principais temas de Direito Civil, constituindo a norma emergencial um “Mini Código Civil” para resolver os problemas em matéria privada decorrentes da pandemia de Covid-19. Este artigo pretende analisar as principais regras constantes da norma e suas repercussões jurídicas, levando-se em conta a doutrina e a jurisprudência construída a respeito dos temas correlatos.

This paper analyses the set of rules es tablished on Law n. 14,010 of 2020, as originated from Bill n. 1,179 of 2020, which determined the Emergency and Temporary Legal Framework for relationships involving Private Law during the period of Covid19 pandemic in Brazil (Portuguese acronym: RJET). The aim of such Law was to regulate the most relevant themes regarding relationships involving Private law. In this sense, Law 14,010 of 2020 should be interpreted as an additional set of rules to those on the Brazilian Civil Code in order to deal with the legal issues arising from the Covid19 pandemic, including those related to prescription and Inheritance Law. Based on legal scholarship and precedents, the paper intends to analyse the set of rules es tablished on Law 14,010 of 2020 and its consequences.
