    Desde su nacimiento la filosofía se ha considerado como el fundamento de todas las demás ciencias. Los sistemas de la filosofía metafísica han intentado proveer el método gnoseológico a todas disciplinas particulares. Sin embargo, la metafísica en tanto que modelo del conocimiento ha sido a la vez defendida y criticada, preciada y despreciada. El autor muestra como la metafísica en manos de Rudolf Carnap, por medio de la lógica, recibe otro golpe fatal a tal punto que se le reduce a un conjunto de ideas ficticias. De este modo se sostiene que no hay lugar para la filosofía a menos que sea el análisis del lenguaje.

    Since its birth, philosophy has been considered as the foundation of all other sciences. The systems of metaphysical philosophy have tried to provide the epistemological method to all particular disciplines. However, metaphysics as a model of knowledge has been both defended and criticized, prized and despised. The author shows how metaphysics in the hands of Rudolf Carnap, through logic, receives another fatal blow to the point that it is reduced to a set of fictitious ideas. In this way it is argued that there is no place for philosophy unless it is the analysis of language.
