    Resumen: El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar el accionar de la dictadura militar en el campo educativo y sus intentos de hegemonizar, ideológica y fácticamente, la educación secundaria. Asimismo, explora las respuestas contrahegemónicas que tal accionar produjo en el estudiantado. Para ello, se indaga en la formación, consolidación y desarrollo del movimiento secundario opositor a la Dictadura durante la década de 1980, ilustrando tal proceso a partir de un caso emblemático, el del Movimiento Aplicacionista por la Democracia (MAD). El texto vincula el marco político y social más amplio con las lógicas de acción que una específica comunidad escolar desarrolló en el período, ponderando sus condicionamientos y relevando sus rasgos creativos.

    Abstract: This article aims to study and understand the action of the military dictatorship in the educational field and its attempts to hegemonize, ideologically and factually, the goals and means of secondary education. It also explores the counter-hegemonic responses that such action produced in the student body. To do this, the formation, consolidation and decay of the secondary movement opposed to the Dictatorship is investigated during the 1980s, illustrating this process from an emblematic case, that of the Movimiento Aplicacionista por la Democracia (MAD). The text links the broader political and social framework with the logics of action that a specific school community developed during the period, pondering its conditioning factors and stressing its creative features.
