    Introducción. El estrés laboral actualmente es uno de los principales problemas a nivel mundial debido a que no solo genera problemas en la salud de los colaboradores sino que ocasiona pérdidas económicas en la organización. Objetivo. Determinar el nivel de estrés laboral en los docentes de una institución educativa de Lima Materiales y métodos. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal donde participaron 86 docentes y el instrumento empleado fue el cuestionario de estrés laboral de la OIT-OMS. Resultados. El nivel de estrés más frecuente en este grupo laboral fue el nivel intermedio de estrés con 84.88% y estrés con un 15.12%. Conclusión. Es necesario profundizar el estudio de este importante problema junto a otras variables laborales.

    Introduction. Work stress is currently one of the main problems worldwide because it not only generates problems in the health of employees but also causes economic losses in the organization. Objective. Determine the level of work stress in teachers of an educational institution in Lima Materials and methods. A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out in which 86 teachers participated and the instrument used was the ILO-WHO work stress questionnaire. Results. The most frequent stress level in this work group was the intermediate level of stress with 84.88% and stress with 15.12%. Conclusion. It is necessary to deepen the study of this important problem together with other labor variables.
