    En esta nota presentamos un caso de depredación de la rana de orejas chicas Rheohyla miotympanum por la culebra falsa coral de Pliocercus elapoides en el centro de Veracruz, México. Este registro representa el primer depredador vertebrado conocido de la rana de orejas chicas, y el primer hylido presa reportado en la dieta de la culebra falsa coral.

    In this note we present a case of predation of small-eared tree frog Rheohyla miotympanum by the false coral snake Pliocercus elapoides in central Veracruz, México. This report represents the first known vertebrate predator of the small-eared tree frog, and the first hylid prey item reported in the diet of the false coral snake
