Santiago Espinosa Piñeros es poeta, ensayista, profesor en la Universidad Central y director de la Escuela de Maestros de Gimnasio Moderno, en Bogotá, la escuela más prestigiosa de Colombia. Es autor de numerosos libros de poemas y ha sido ganador del Premio Internacional de Poesía Jaime Sabines 2016. Su última obra es El resplandor y la sombra, una poética de las montañas (FCE).

He is the author of numerous books of poems and has been the winner of the 2016 Jaime Sabines International Poetry Prize. His latest work is The glow and the shadow, a poetry of the mountains (FCE).
