El tratamiento del menor infractor penal supone para la policía y el resto de profesionales que deben interactuar con él un verdadero reto, especialmente cuando es detenido. Deben unirse sensibilidad y la obligación legal de perseguir todo tipo de delitos y poner todo lo actuado ante las instancias judiciales oportunas; para lo cual deben conocerse las principales normas legales y principios de interpretación de las mismas que contienen las circulares e instrucciones de Fiscalía, de la Secretaría de Estado de Seguridad y la jurisprudencia. Todo ello dará seguridad a la totalidad de operadores jurídicos.

The treatment of juvenile criminal offenders is a real challenge for the police and other professionals who must interact with them, especially when they are arrested. They must unite sensitivity and the legal obligation to prosecute all types of crimes and put all the actions taken before the appropriate judicial instances; for which they must know the main legal rules and principles of interpretation of the same contained in the circulars and instructions of the Prosecutor’s Office, the Secretary of State for Security and jurisprudence. All this will provide security to all legal operators.
