    El presente artículo explora el conflicto entre los poderes ejecutivo y judicial iniciado en 1927, y sus consecuencias en la estructura institucional chilena, proyectadas durante las décadas siguientes. Así, se afirma que dicho episodio definió el carácter de las relaciones entre judicatura y Ejecutivo durante la República presidencialista iniciada en 1925.

    This paper explores the conflict between the executive and judicial powers that began in 1927, and its consequences on the Chilean institutional structure, projected during the following decades. Thus, it affirms that that episode defined the relationship between judiciary and Executive power under the Presidencialist Republic started in 1925.
