La proyección social universitaria como acto de donación y hospitalidad

    El presente artículo de reflexión se enmarca en el proyecto de investigación “Sistematización a la experiencia de acompañamiento a la Comunidad de San Sebastián de Betania entre los años 2013 – 2018”, particularmente el trabajo con los niños y de las niñas de la Escuela de Fútbol y Danzas. Con el texto se busca generar reflexiones en torno a una de las funciones sustantivas de la Universidad: la proyección social, la cual se quiere comprender no solo en el marco de la Responsabilidad Social Universitaria como un asunto institucionalizado, sino llevarla más allá para asumirla como una acto de donación y hospitalidad con el otro, en donde llegue a superar el ejercicio de réplica de los conocimientos obtenidos en la Universidad, y se logre comprender los saberes de las comunidades acompañadas para generar espacios de diálogo y construcción conjunta.

    This reflection paper is framed within the research Project called “Systematization of the experience of assisting the Community of San Sebastian from Betania between the years 2013-2018”, particularly in the work done with children of the soccer and dance class. The text seeks for the generation of reflections regarding one of the University’s main functions: the social outreach, which is understood not only within the frame of the University Social Responsibility as an institutionalized subject, but also within the projection of this idea. All this, in order to assume this social outreach, as an action of endowment and hospitality with others, where it achieves the exercise of replicating the knowledge acquired at the University, and the understanding of the knowledge coming from the assessed communities in order to generate spaces for open dialogue and combined construction.
