    Luis Tramoyeres Blasco (1854-1920) fue secretario general de la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Carlos, director-conservador del Museo de Bellas Artes de Valencia y fundador de la revista Archivo de Arte Valenciano (1915). Sin duda, la ingente actividad y la extensa bibliografía de Tramoyeres, requeriría un trabajo monográfico sobre su figura.

    A falta del mismo, no podíamos pasar por alto la figura del fundador de nuestra revista en el centenario de su fallecimiento.

    El homenaje se realiza ilustrando con tres ejemplos, y celebrando, con imágenes inéditas, hasta qué punto están vivas sus investigaciones y la actividad que desarrolló.

    Los ejemplos escogidos para hacer presente su memoria se corresponden con la Capilla Real del antiguo convento de Santo Domingo, el Catálogo Monumental de Castellón y el techo de la Sala Dorada de la antigua Casa de la Ciudad. Creemos que estos ejemplos resumen, mejor que largos párrafos laudatorios, la perspicacia del historiador del arte, el incansable trabajo del erudito y la actividad en la defensa del patrimonio artístico valenciano

    Luis Tramoyeres Blasco (1854-1920) was secretary general of Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Carlos, director-curator of the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia and founder of the magazine Archivo de Arte Valenciano (1915). Undoubtedly, the enormous activity and extensive bibliography of Tramoyeres would require a monographic work on his figure. In the absence of it, we could not ignore the figure of the founder of our magazine on the centenary of his death.

    The tribute is carried out illustrating with three examples, and celebrating, with numerous images, to what extent his research and the activity he developed are alive. The examples chosen to present his memory correspond to the Royal Chapel of the old convent of Santo Domingo, the Monuments Catalog of Castellón and the ceiling of the Golden Room of the old Town Hall of the city of Valencia. We believe that these examples summarize, better than long laudatory paragraphs, the insight of the art historian, the tireless work of the scholar and the activity in the defense of the Valencian artistic heritage.
