  En cumplimiento a la normativa urbanística de Cataluña, el Instituto Cartográfico y Geológico de Cataluña (ICGC) debe emitir un informe de afectación a elementos de interés geológico. Considerando la necesidad de disponer de una información lo más completa y rigurosa posible se ha procedido a una recopilación masiva de elementos geológicos que alimentará la actualización del Inventario de Espacios de Interés Geológico de Cataluña. Convirtiéndose, así, en la herramienta de acceso y consulta a la información que facilita la gestión del territorio con el objetivo de preservar el patrimonio geológico y la geodiversidad.

  In compliance with the urban planning regulations of Catalonia, the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia (ICGC) must issue a report on the potential impact on elements of geological interest. In order to have the most complete and rigorous information possible, a massive compilation of geological elements has been carried out, which will feed the updating of the Inventory of Areas of Geological Interest in Catalonia". Thus, becoming the tool for accessing and consulting information that facilitates the management of the territory with the aim of preserving the geoheritage and the geodiversity.
