  El analfabetismo y déficit de profesionales son factores que llevan a un país a la pobreza, la falta de seriedad y capacidad para enseñar por parte de los docentes de escuela es muy notoria, y es que el nivel de calidad de enseñanza especialmente en escuelas rurales es baja; a pesar de que muchos estudiantes asisten a clases, la mayoría no saben leer y escribir bien, esta es la razón por la cual la presente investigación se titula “Calidad de enseñanza docente y nivel de rendimiento académico en lectoescritura en la escuela José María Huerta”; su finalidad fue determinar tanto el antes como el después el nivel de rendimiento académico en lectoescritura de los alumnos de la básica superior de acuerdo a la calidad de enseñanza docente. A partir del muestreo de poblaciones finitas, estratificado y aleatorio, se escogió el 95% de nivel de confianza con un error del 5% como muestra de estudio, aplicándose al 41% de la población total (67 personas); se enfocó en una investigación experimental utilizando encuestas y fichas de observación científica, se implementaron estrategias pedagógicas en el aula. Finalmente se comparó el estudio del inicio con el final. Con un Grado de Libertad de 4 y 95% de confianza para chi cuadrado, se demostró que X2 calculado 20,67 fue mayor que X2 tabulado 9,48; por lo tanto, se rechazó hipótesis nula y se aceptó la alternativa de que si existe calidad de enseñanza docente el rendimiento académico en lectoescritura sí se incrementa.

  QUALITY OF TEACHING AND LEVEL OF ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE IN LITERACY AT THE JOSÉ MARÍA HUERTA SCHOOL ABSTRACT Illiteracy and lack of professionals are factors that lead a country to poverty, the lack of seriousness and ability to teach by school teachers is very noticeable, and is that the level of quality of teaching especially in rural schools is come down; Despite the fact that many students attend classes, most do not know how to read and write well, this is the reason why this research is entitled "Quality of teaching and level of academic performance in literacy at José María Huerta school" ; Its purpose was to determine both the before and after the level of academic performance in literacy of the students of the upper basic according to the quality of teaching. From the sampling of finite, stratified and random populations, the 95% confidence level was chosen with an error of 5% as the study sample, applying it to 41% of the total population (67 people); focused on an experimental investigation using surveys and scientific observation cards, pedagogical strategies were implemented in the classroom. Finally, the study from the beginning to the end was compared. With a Degree of Freedom of 4 and 95% confidence for chi square, it was shown that X2 calculated 20.67 was greater than X2 tabulated 9.48; therefore, the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative was accepted that if there is quality of teaching, academic performance in literacy does increase.
